Vivica A. Fox Shades Kenya Moore, Calls Her A ‘Toxic Trick’

Sometimes even when taking the high road you can’t resist the urge to throw some well-placed shade at your enemies.

Vivica A. Fox knows exactly how that feels because today she once again put her former reality show co-star and ongoing nemesis, Kenya Moore, in her place.

While visiting The Wendy Williams Show this morning to promote her upcoming film, Independence Day: Resurgence (she returns for the 1996 film’s sequel and co-starred in the original as Will Smith’s love interest), host Wendy Williams turned the conversation to Vivica’s recurring role on the FOX hit seriesEmpire, where she plays Cookie Lyon’s older sister, Candace. Let’s just say things got pretty shady after that.

Vivica stated that the show’s creator, Lee Daniels, watched her memorable boardroom showdown with the “toxic trick” (Vivica slyly omitted saying Kenya’s name) while the two were competing on Celebrity Apprentice, which convinced him he had to have her on Empire. She went on to say that Lee kept his word and a mere three months later he called and asked if she wanted the role of Candace.

Known to never miss an opportunity to get the full scoop, Wendy further probed Vivica about her time with Kenya by asking her if she had spoken to The Real Housewives of Atlanta star since filming for the show wrapped. Vivica replied with, “No I haven’t seen her (since the finale); I’m too busy having a legitimate career…and making sure people get paid.”

The claws are definitely still out and you can bet that Kenya will have a response that is filled with a hefty amount of her own shade.
